NCAA Football Week 11 Matchups

NCAA Top Betting Matchups: Week 11

The NCAA season is getting very near end and there is still a lot of discrepancy over who deserves to be in the BCS championship game. Oregon and Auburn sit in the top two position but some people still believe that TCU and Boise State have a shot. With all that in mind, don’t forget about all the other games that can make you some easy money in the upcoming week.

Miami (OH) RedHawks (-3 ½) @ Bowling Green Falcons

Wednesday, November 10 – 8:00 PM

When The RedHawks come in to Bowling Green they will be met by a very substantial and driven team in The Falcons. Both of these teams are talented and without doing extensive research you might as well flip a coin to make your pick. Sportsbooks have the RedHawks set as 4 point favorites but The Falcons are not concerned with what oddsmakers are predicting. In their last road game against Central Michigan, The Falcons were dogged by 13 points and came up big in a 17-14 win. Bowling Green has a 2-7 record but they have much more talent than their record would indicate.

The RedHawks come in with a 5-4 record and with only 3 games left on the season, Miami is looking to end on a high note. They have a strong passing game with Zac Dysert at QB who has accumulated over 2100 yards on the season. Unfortunately for The RedHawks, their rushing game is near the bottom of the barrel ranking 119th in the league. If Dysert can get the passing game established, Bowling Green will have difficulty keeping up with them offensively.

Betting Trends

The last 10 times these teams have met Miami has won 8 times. The RedHawks are 6-19 in their last 25 games and 3-17 SU in their last 20 road games. When playing Bowling Green they are 9-2 in their last 11 matches. Bowling Green is 2-4 ATS and 1-5 SU in its last 6 games. It is are 2-8 in the last 10 matches against Miami (OH) and 0-5 ATS when playing Miami at home.

Pittsburgh Panthers (-6 ½) @ Connecticut Huskies

Thursday, November 11 – 7:30 PM

The Pitt Panthers are coming into this game with a 5-3 record after a bye week. They have three straight games since their loss to Notre Dame and are hoping to continue their undefeated streak in the Big East. The season has been somewhat of a disappointment for Panthers fan as the team was pre-ranked at #15 and quickly dropped after losses to Utah and Miami (FL). But The Panthers finish out this season with 4 straight Big East matchups and if nothing else they are gunning for the top slot in their division.

The Panthers have been mediocre at best on offense. Tino Sunseri is not putting up big numbers through the air despite his high passer rating. Dion Lewis has been even more of a disappointment after a record setting season last year with 1799 yards, he is projected to finish with just 700 this season. But The Huskies need not underestimate his skills. If they don’t focus on him there is a chance he could run all over them.

The Huskies defense is pretty solid. Ranked 38th in the league they allow just 21.4 points per game. Last week UConn won a nail-biter over WVU with an OT field goal to go up 16-13. If the defense shows up to play and the team can get the running game established they have a very good chance of winning this game.

Betting Trends

Pittsburgh is 4-0-1 ATS in its last 5 games and 4-1 SU in the last 5 games. The team is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games against UConn. The Huskies are 8-4 SU in their last 12 games and 5-0 SU in the last 5 games at home.

Boise State Broncos (-35) @ Idaho Vandals

Friday, November 12 – 9:00 PM

The season is winding down to the last few games of the year and Boise State is trying to squeeze every ounce of energy from themselves to prove that they belong in a BCS National Championship game. The undefeated Broncos will faceoff with the 4-5 Idaho Vandals Friday night in their next step toward the perfect season. Make no mistake; the Broncos are taking this game every bit as seriously as their first game against Virginia Tech. Not only do they need to win, but they need a convincing enough victory to give them a boost in the rankings. Their defense is extremely well managed and the offense is dominant.

However, The Vandals are not a team to just roll over on the Broncos. They have one of the most underrated QB’s in the league in Nathan Enderle who has thrown for over 2500 yards on the season and 17 TD’s. That makes the passing offense good enough to be ranked 4th in the country. The running game is another story though and helps to void some of the great talent at the QB position. Idaho’s run game is ranked 116th in the league and without an established run game the Broncos will be all over Enderle.

Betting Trends

Biose State is 8-0 SU in the last 8 games and the total has gone OVER in 8 of the last 12 games on the road. When playing Idaho, Boise State is has gone OVER the total in 5 of the last 6 matches. Idaho is 2-4 SU in its last 6 games and 1-5 ATS. The Vandals are 0-5 in their last 5 games against Boise State.
